The Winding Road - The escape from Isolation

What would you, or what can you do if the world fell silent? If there was something out there silencing everything step by step but no one knew exactly what it was and couldn't stop it? Would you try to search for something better, or would you let whatever happens happen?

Sweden and the Nordic countries were the last to fall to this. And now death and silence has been a part of life for the secluded Sam the past four years. Sam was used to being alone before, having no friends and working from home. But Sam is at a limit now. The silence is deafening and the food is drained. Death seemed certain. 

Until Sam’s radio picked up an old message, one on repeat from three years earlier talking about a bunker further up north. One that claims to have food and space for a big city. Could it still be there, or was it long gone? What else did Sam have to lose trying to reach it? 

So Sam will travel. Trying to reach this bunker through a dark and cold world with whatever danger is out there. And Sam will realize and learn of those that traveled this journey too long ago.
